Apparently it’s been over a year since the last time I posted any news about what’s going on with me and my various writing activities. I didn’t think anyone would notice, but boy was I wrong!

There is good news and less good news. I’ll give you the less good news first.

The OUTRIDERS series is on hold for the time being. Due to the vagaries of life and the especially special vagaries of the publishing world, Lincoln and his team are enjoying an extended hiatus. I do have plans to continue the series in the future, but for the moment I’ve had to switch focus.

The good news is that I do have another book on the way! My next novel Every Sky a Grave will be coming out from Skybound Books (though you’ll have to wait all the way until 2020 to hold it in your very own hands). That might seem like a long way off, but just think, that’s less than one jayposey.com blog post away! :\

Every Sky a Grave is about Elyth, a dedicated and skilled assassin of planets. Planetary assassin, you say? You bet!

It’s a new adventure, and I imagine if you enjoyed the Duskwalker and Outriders serieseses, then you’ll find plenty to like in this one as well.

I’ll update all of you excellent people with more details as it gets closer to time.

Hi hi everyone,

Just a quick post to let you all know I am in fact alive and still writing. Unfortunately for all you OUTRIDERS fans out there, I’m not going to have a third installment out for you this year; I’m working on a new project at the moment that I hope to be able to talk more about soon. But I do fully intended to get back to Lincoln and his team as soon as I can.

In the meantime, thanks to everyone who has taken the time to contact me looking for news. I keep thinking that any day now I’ll have something to share, but I’ve been thinking that for several months, so I figured maybe I should just poke my head up for a second.

And now I must return to the word mines!

Sungrazer, the sequel to Outriders, is dropping out of orbit and onto bookshelves all over the planet on July 4th!
